PACE is planning on reducing service on Route 319 which takes passengers from the Bensenville train station to the Grand Avenue Line at Wolf Road. The service reductions affect Peak Frequency from 30 minutes to 60 minutes (cutting Bensenville service in half). I have attached their Proposed Route Change Flyer.
They have scheduled a Public Hearing where residents can voice their opinions next Wednesday from 4pm – 6pm at the Elmwood Park Village Hall (flyer attached). Residents may also submit their comments VIA EMAIL or mail comments to Pace at the address indicated on the flyer.
The Village is opposed to these changes and encourage our PACE riders to submit their comments in person on Wednesday (May 25th) or in writing by Friday (May 27th).
