Weather pending on 8/22/17 at 9:00am the Village of Bensenville Public Works Department will shut off your water so that new water main can be installed in the Church Road and Grove Road intersection. We expect that this work will take most of the day and your water will be turned back on by 4:00pm on 8/22/17.
The attached notices are being delivered to impacted residents as I type this email. I have been asked to share such notices with you so you can put them on the Village’s FB page for transparency reasons. Every water shutdown is followed by a 24-hr precautionary boil order which goes into effect once the water is turned back on. A boil order lift notice is handed out to the impacted residents once the water sample has been tested and cleared.
