During the week of 9-25-17, weather permitting, the contractor is scheduled to continue installing watermain along Church Rd between Washington St and Jefferson St. A water shutdown is anticipated to take place during the week and impacted residents will be notified on via notice. The contractor will also be working on pressure testing and chlorinating the watermain between Grove Ave and Memorial Dr.
The watermain installation will be at the intersection of Jefferson St and Church Rd during late next week. There will be traffic impacts to the intersection of Jefferson and Church Rd. Delays should be expected for motoring traffic. It is best to avoid the construction zone. The road is open to southbound traffic during the day. However, motorists are advised to expect delays and/or seek alternate routes.
AT&T is scheduled to perform fiber optic cable splicing in your area starting at 11 PM on Friday 9-22-17 to approximately 6 AM on Saturday 9-23-17. AT&T is expecting to have three crews on site located at intersection of Church Rd/Washington St; Church Rd/Jefferson St and Church Rd/Red Oak Ave. Each crew will be equipped with an AT&T truck with flashing lights for safety during night work. AT&T must complete this work at night time to minimize disruptions to its customers in the area. This work is strictly controlled by AT&T and must be completed to keep the project on schedule. There aren’t any anticipated driveway access or traffic related impacted with this operation as crews will be working off to the side of the road. Residents within the AT&T work zone have been provided a notice informing them of the overnight work.
