Pumpkin Smash Recycling Event 2021 - NEW LOCATION
In partnership with SCARCE, the Bensenville Public Works Department will host a pumpkin smash recycling event on Saturday, November 6th at the Bensenville Village Hall Main Parking Lot.
This one-day event is a great opportunity to properly dispose of your Halloween pumpkins while having a little family fun. During the event, you will have the option to either chuck or smash your pumpkin into a dumpster. Smash events like this help keep pumpkins out of landfills and reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gasses being released into the environment. Social distancing and mask wearing will be required during this event.
