Bensenville’s Edge Ice Arena to Host Largest Annual Recreational Ice Competition in U.S., the ISI World Recreational Team Championships Aug. 4-7, 2022.
The Edge Ice Arena will be hosting the ISI (Ice Sports Industry) World Recreational Team Championships, August 4-7, 2022. Nearly 750 ice skaters from across the country and world will be coming the Bensenville for this large figure skating 4 day event with skaters competing in individual and team events.
ISI Worlds is recognized as the largest annual recreational ice skating competition in the country! It offers more than 25 different skating event categories for individuals, partners, groups and teams.
This year’s competition will feature competitors of all skill levels representing 59 rink teams from 15 states and Thailand, with ages ranging from 3 to 85. Thirty skaters from the Crystal Edges Figure Skating Team will be representing the Edge Ice Arena in both individual and team events.
Admission is free to the public. We encourage everyone to come, watch, and learn more about the sport of recreational competitive skating.
