Renovation Alert: Bensenville Theatre's Phase 1 Update!
We are thrilled to announce an early March completion of Phase 1 in restoration of the Bensenville Center Theatre! As part of an effort to preserve our community's heritage, we are embarked on Phase 1 of the renovation project, which aims to restore the iconic 1927 façade and marquee to their original splendor but with modern technology.
Project Overview:
- Phase 1 will focus on revitalizing the theatre's exterior, giving it a stunning makeover that harks back to its historic roots. The façade will undergo careful restoration to ensure it reflects the architectural grandeur of yesteryears.
- Awning Removal
- New Marquee
- Tuck Pointing
- New Windows
- The marquee will be designed to capture the charm and elegance of the original design from 1927.
- The interior will boast new flooring and new seats.
Impact on Access:
- During the final weeks of the Phase I renovation, the theatre will be closed for business from January 29 to March 1, 2024. Sundaes II will be open daily from 5pm-8pm. We will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to our valued patrons.
